What are the things making it difficult for you to be closer to GOD? Do people become more religious when times are tough?

The only thing that makes God turn away from man is a simple three-letter-word; SIN!
God hates sin and forbids us from sinning.
We can only get close to God again through repentance and total abstinence from sin.

It is also noted in the bible that those who realy walked with God are those who hated sin.
Romans 6: 1,2,23.

Because the devil doesnt want them to make it; the devil knows that they are on the right part. That is why he tempted Jesus after Jesus has fasted for 40days and 40nights; why? he doesnt want Jesus to be successful in the work of redemption he came for on earth.

Sincerely, there's nothing that can make me confirm him to be a man of God. Miracles are not factors for confirming a man as a man of God and at the same time, l'm not the judge that will judge him.

Though we have a lot of men of God in this country who are well-known internationally; but l can only beat my chest for only one of them; the man is Pastor W F Kumuyi Of Deeper Life. I dont condemn anyone, but one thing l can say about Pastor Kumuyi is that he stands for truth always and has not left the truth.
Finally, this does not mean there is any perfect church on earth, but this man of God stands out, despite rampant erronious doctrines.

Yes I trust him also about his lifestyle to an extent, but in term of telling the members the truth and taking actions against ungodliness in the church; anyway, God is the Judge.

Because, God is the One Who will judge us all: minister or no minister, we shall personally give account of our entire lives before God.

These are the times which one has to show upright loyalty to God, it sometimes may be an ultimate test of our faith

"If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small."
Proverbs 24:10.
We can only know a valiant man and a true warrior in the time of challenges and in the battle front.
No Testimony without Test:
No Crown without Conquest:
When you Travail trully, you Triumph and then you get the Trophy.
Remember, there is no Sweet(of life) without Sweat.

The Bible Says:
",.....Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God".- John 3:3.
Being born again means experiencing 'new birth'.

Yes, you understand the story of his life; and it's true he was a well-respected and knew the law; that was why Jesus told him, ".... you are a ruler in Israel and you dont know these things(words about conversion or being born again)?".
