Should People Fall Down When A Pastor Lays Hand On Them?

I have been wondering, is it right for people to always fall down whenever a pastor lays hand on them? In the Bible, only those possessed of the devil fell down while being prayed for, so
why are church members always falling down whenever the pastor lays a hand on them or blows on them? Does it mean the church members are always possessed or they are just playing to the camera and trying to impress the pastor?

These are just questions because
I want to learn and grow in the Lord.

@ Chris, you would have rather asked, 'why do pple fall under anointing'? As personal experince by God grace, for the years of being in deliverance ministry; demonic possession is the main reason why pple fall under anointing most times; its not intentional for ppl to fall under anionting, but its 'Holy Ghost Shock' like electricity, for me, l only rely on God; l dont use any evil power and pple still fall when l lay hands; many believe that laying of hands under which pple fall is always with evil powers; l'm a witness its not so; God's power causes pple to fall under anointing using His ministers.

So what you're indirectly saying is that everyone is expected to fall when a pastor touches them (considering everyone's a sinner) and that whoever does not fall is pure and righteous?

Falling under the annoying vary 4rm in among individuals, some might fall bcos dey harbour unclean spirit, some might fall bcos dey felt power, why some 'may also feel d same power & dey might not fall, it takes maturity.

@ Chris, every unclean spirit responds to God's Power when hand is being laid and each sin is attached to a controlling force/demon; moreso, some1 might have given his life to Jesus and still attached to a demonic problem; its not a matter of who is holy or who is sinner; some1 who is born again may still be under the control of family idol, but not a witch or wizard. Lower spirits subject to higher ones, Holy Spirit cannot be falling before holy spirit; its demons or demonic problems that make pple fall under anointing.

@Actionbaby, my dear sister, its not controlled with physical force; we dont condemn action of the Spirit Of God; its not the pastor that push them down, its the force of the Spirit Of God; concerning having brain problem, l have not seen anyone having brain problem bcos of that; God, who does His work like that knows how to protect pple from injuries; l have seen a situation, where l laid hand on a lady and the she fell down sudenly and violently, yet no injury as you said; another thing is that you dont ask why is that a mad man dont die easily despite drinking and eating a lot of dirty things: the way of the spirit is different from the way of the physical; so, dont say its not ideal, it is done by God Himself.

@FULBLESSING, be careful, dont judge actions of the Spirit ; You talk of Pastor Kumuyi & Pastor Adeboye; I spent up to 19years(1988-2007) in Deeper Life Bible Church; I was a leader there b4 l was called into ministry; l started deliverance ministry there b4 l was called into starting a ministry; when we pray deliverance prayer 4 pple they fell under God's Power In Deeper Life; why didnt pastor kumuyi condemn those actions; he cant because his open door ministry as an apostle & general overseer is a little bit different from deliverance time.

People still fall under anointing during deliverance in deeper life; if u want to confirm, l can give u a phone number of a regional overseer in deeper life; his name is Pastor Amos Ifedayo; Who is realy into deliverance ministry and this man is well-known by Pastor Kumiyi; pple still fall when he's in time of deliverance(l know this man in person, not just afar off; l had discussions wt him): there4 ask questions where u need to, thanks.

@FULBLESSING, you talked about Bible time; look at example of Jesus Himself In Mark. 9:20-27- The man fell under God's Power even before Jesus' Touched him, which also happen in deliverance; that b4 a man of God touches pple, they may fall and they may fall after touching.
