It may not be very common to see emojis in folder names on Android because at first thought, you may think "who would want that?" but you'll begin to appreciate its existence when you realize that kids and perhaps girls would want it. The good news is, it's possible to use emojis in folder names on Android devices. To do this, follow the steps below:

1. Open the folder whose name you would like to change, then tap on the title to open up the keyboard for a rename.

2. Press and hold the Done button to switch from text to Emoji.

3. Choose the emoji or emojis you would like to use in your title, then tap Done as normal.

I only tried this on the Google keyboard so if you are using a third party keyboard, the procedure might be different.
