Do you know that you can transfer money from your GTBank account to other banks by simply dialing a code on your phone? Let me show you how.

GTBank Mobile Transfer is a mobile channel which enables Gurantee Trust Bank customers to conveniently perform third party transfers to both GTBank and other banks in Nigeria, via mobile phones, by simply dialing the *737 shortcode with details of the amount and account number of the recipient.

How To Transfer Money To GTBank Account With Your Mobile Phone


Important! -  The USSD code to send money from your GTB account to another GTB account is slightly differnt from the code used to transfer money from GTB to other banks like Zenith, FirstBank, UBA, Diamond bank, Access bank e.t.c. It is important to identify which bank you are transferring to before dialing the code. For other banks, scroll down to the second part of this article, this part is for making GTB-to-GTB transfers.

Note: You must dial the following code with the phone number linked to your GTBank account, this is the same number you receive GTB alerts with.

To carry out a GTB-to-GTB transfer, dial *737*1*Amount*Account Number#. For example, if I wanted to send N5000 to another GTB account holder whose account number is 1234567890, then I would dial *737*1*5000*1234567890#.

After dialing the code, you may be asked for an authentication code. Use the last four digits of your GTBank Naira Mastercard to authenticate the transaction.

GTBank Mobile Transfer To Other Banks With Your Mobile Phone


The following code is used to send money from your GTB account to other banks. If you need to transfer to a GTB account, scroll up to the first part of this article.

To send money to other banks, simply dial *737*2*Amount*Account Number#. The account number here must be the recipients 10 digit account number (NUBAN).

After dialing the code, you would be asked for authentication, use the last four digits of your Naira Mastercard (GTB ATM).
