I have heard complaints about people not being able to use the free internet data that comes with the Glo Bounce tariff plan. A recent message I received said "Please how do I browse with MB on Glo bounce?". I will lay it all down here for the benefit of other glo subscribers who may need this information as well.

The problem experienced here, as I have found out, is that when a glo subscriber subscribes for the Glo Bounce data plan, and receives 30MB worth of free internet data to browse with, he/she will not be able to use the free mb and any internet connection whatsoever will only redirect to the glo hsi portal. Also, browsing with an active internet data plan will just ignore the free 30mb data and keep working with the regular plan as normal.

How To Use The Free 30MB From Glo Bounce Plan

To unlock this mysterious 30mb, all you need to do is carefully follow the steps I have outlined below:

Step 1: First, you have to make sure that your mobile phone or modem (whichever one you are trying to browse with) is configured with the gloflat internet setting. This is actually the default internet configuration for Glo, but if you do not already have it active in your mobile phone, you can request for it by texting flat to 1234.
See the manual configuration below in case you are not able to receive the settings:

Create a new access point,

Account Name: gloflat
Access Point Name (APN): gloflat
Username: gloflat
Password: gloflat

Remember to activate it after configuration and set it as default, otherwise itwon't work

Step 2: Then migrate to the Glo PAYU plan (Pay As You Use). To migrate to Glo PAYU, text PAYU to 127. The Glo PAYU plan is a special plan that allows you to surf the internet at low costs using the available airtime on your phone (Have no fear, you will not lose your airtime). We have discovered that the free 30mb internet data is somehow bundled to your airtime and this means that your glo sim sees it as "airtime", so that's why you need to migrate to Glo PAYU to use it.

How To Check Data Balance on Glo Bounce

Dial #122# to check your remaining MB on Glo Bounce.
Or dial #124#, when you see the popup menu, select 4.

How To Cancel / Deactivate the PAYU plan
If for any reason you need to deactivate the glo payu plan, all you need to do is send CANCEL to 127.

STEP 4:Enter your card pin number(e.g

STEP 5:Enter your examination number
(e.g.20122011a g)
STEP 6:Confirmed all the details you have entered
and then Click on the ''CHECK MY RESULT''button and
wait for the results

STEP 7:Your result automatically opens
STAGE 2
STEP 1:when you are on your result page simply
open another tab on your pc *open the ANTI HACKER
software and go to the extreme end and click on
"PERFORM A HACK for OS X using html990,then you
will
see a space bar at the extreme end,simply insert your
RESULT LINK>and click.automatically it will bring out
a space
bar which you will fill AUTHENTICITY.
STEP 2:Open the password unlocker and also insert
your result link and click on ''GO''.follow the normal

I have migrated to glo bounce .

It probably will. It is recomended to exhaust any active dat plan first.

I dont have a bb subscription. i have followed all the steps but cannot connet to the net. how do i set the settings as my default on bb
