@Debby2630, a genuine christian dont drink alcohol at all; its a great sin; may be you have read the above quotations; anything that defiles the temple of God(our Body) is a great sin and if you want to make heaven, you must run away from it.

Hmmm, you have a point and recently my orientation changed about the issue; if you want to use it for healing, its no error at all; but if you take it as habit, it can become sin.

l learnt a lesson concerning last year. l had heart problem due to that company work; do you believe that the heart problem was cured with alcoholic wine(night train express)? and l had not tasted beer or ethanol since l was born.

I take wine four times a year. Am sure you know exactly what am talking about.

If one has no sickness that can be cured by wine or alcohol, the best is to keep away from it; because alcoholic drinks are naturally negative to some issues of our health.
E.g Beer (which l have never tasted still) has larger quantity of sugar than minerals you think they have sugar; that is why drinkers usually have diabetes: go and study that.

I dont think l understand; do you mean every trimester of the year?

Am simply talking about The Holy Communion. Its four times yearly.

You use wine for holy communion and four times in a year?
Why doesn't the pastor be using the exact thing used in the bible(the fruits of the vine-which is non-alcoholic)?
And moreso, holy communion is just once in a year and taken at the time Jesus took it in the Bible, that is, if he wants to follow the bible.

We take the Holy Communion around March, June, September, and December.

Do you believe catholicians are walking in line with the scriptures?
Dont you know that the catholics corrupted christianity?
There are a lot to say on that: let us lay that aside.
Remember that "The Lord's Supper" was derived from "The Passover" and the bible says we should do it once in a year as Jesus did on Nissan 14- Exodus 12:11,21,27,43,48; Leviticus 23:5; Exodus 12:3; Deut 16:7; Matthew 26:26-29; Luke 22:19.

Jesus said, "Do this to remember me". He didn't specify the frequency at which it should be done. The Catholic are corrupted but you look up to the Pope as a religious leader? Don't say that again.

What makes somebody a leader: is it a title or doing the will of God?
You didnt read all the references l gave you; the bible says once a year and on Nissan 14: the bible gave specific number(only one time).

Nissan? I doubt if you were trying to type Thessalonians, but I tell you, the words of Christ were recorded in the gospel books, anything you bring from the epistles is an interpretation from a human being of flesh and blood like me.

Nissan is the first month of God Himself; Its part of march and april.
I meant 14th day of the month of Nissan.

You 've started something we 'all never finish here again. How come the first month is around April? Sometimes I just get confused and wish there was.no advancement in technology at all!

The twelve months we are using (January - December) were created by the man called Gregory and he named them all after the names of idols; eg January is named after an idol called, janus; that is the more reason why we(in our denomination) dont celebrate what people call 'new year celebration'.
The real month of God are thirteen in number.
All these l'm telling you is not just a denominational doctrine; but because the world is so corrupt, the christian body is mixed with the world and follow the way of the world; you'll be surprised at what will happen when Jesus will come.
No wonder Jesus said "....will l find faith on earth when l come"?

Am serious, you seem to give me this impression that everything that has ever been developed on this planet is totally against the will of God, but remember, what ever is bound on earth is also bound in heaven. I don't see anything wrong with celebrating a golden jubilee, naming months from January to December. Come on Sam, no one was present at creation. If you start to raise eyebrows at everything that civilisation has to offer then its totally wrong. You think the world is in darkness, now you have found the light So why not share it with the world rather than criticizing what it all stands for? The brains who started these are humans like you, you can also make a mark and the world is gonna know your name!
