Mr Paul

Never in your life choose a career because you see your friends or peer groups running into it.
Individual has unique God-given talents and abilities. Dont follow the dictates of parents; if you know that their suggestion or dictate is against your God-given talent and against what God is telling you, reject it with wisdom and not by fighting your parents; but dont go for what you dont have ability or talent for because they want to force you.
Another cogent point is that, you dont need to go for a course because you think it will bring much money for you in the nearest future. I have known of people who read Yoruba Language as their course and are working in the bank.
Lastly, dont go for a career because of selfish desire.
Know your ability and talent; know what God is also telling you, because you cannot take Him out of the show, or else you'll crumble and see your bright future.

I wasn't actually referring to your wife in light of borrowing. My sister has a phone of herself too.

Ok, you mean coming here once in a while or not having interest to come regularly; because I believe she may not be as busy as my wife.

On the contrally, I think she may. School work, house chores, running errands for Mum and big bro? She doesn't need to add housewife services to these, does she?

Well, though occupied, but she still have more freedom than a house wife in whatever case; you can never compare house-wife(especially those with small children) with a female youth. l think its more of her own interest.

She still is not certain what to study in the university!

You can help her as a psychologist.
Just study her ability and talent and advice her based on that.

Yes, you must follow God's instruction.
I've seen(known personally) a medical doctor(working in government hospital) who is seriously and ridiculously poor: he cannot even buy a bicycle.
Who knows may be God had called him to a an engineer and he followed his own discretion.

She keeps indicating interest in studying mathematics. When I tried talking her out, her interest shifted to the Nigerian Army.

Why those things that seem tough?
If she will study mathematics; have you told her how hot she must be in calculation?
lf she wants to go for Nigerian Army; have you told her the rigors of becoming a soldier?
To me, she wants to behave like a man and start stydying her very well from that angle; and if she has talent of oratory, advise her on going for journalism( and only if she was an art student).

She vehemently refused to plate her hair even when you give her money to. I have been through mathematics and I know what am telling you, its hell!

Advise her first on journalism, because l sensed the character of manliness in her; but for the Army & Mathematics , hmmmmm.....

Its already too late for journalism. As for the mathematics, no way! We both are going into the Nigerian army.

Well, it doesnt mean that he gets annoyed quickly; it depends on the way you veiw his character.
Why can he go to force or become a soldier?
Of course, he can.
