How To Know If a Tecno Phone Is Original or Fake

Did you recently buy a Tecno mobile phone? Are you worried about the authenticity of the phone? Worry not, you can check if a Tecno phone is fake or original. Note that some of these fake Tecno phones may actully have Tecno or Techno written on them. To know if your Tecno device is genuine or fake, follow the steps below:

1. Copy out your IMEI code. You can get your IMEI by dialing *#06# on your phone. IMEI codes are usually 15 digits.

2. Copy out your VC code. You can get that from the pack your phone came in. Tecno VC codes are 6 digits long.

3. Visit gc.tecno-mobile.com

4. Type in your IMEI and VC codes and click submit. The last box SN is to check your battery so leave it empty.

After you click submit, you will see a message saying if the phone is original or fake. Cheers

It's VC code. If it is not on the phone pack, it is also at the back of your phone at the place where the battery is. Just remove the battery and check there.
