David Moyes is a great manager, he
was very consistent in his 10-
year run as Everton's manager,
his greatest achievement was in
2005 wen Everton qualified the
UEFA Champions League (UCL)
and also reached the FA Cup final
in 2009. He never won a
trophy for Everton, his only
trophy won as a manager was
wen he
started his coaching career at
Preston North End and won their
2nd division cup.
We have seen of recent the likes
of Leicester City, Wigan and
Swansea winning trophies but
Moyes could not win one for
Everton in his ten year run as
their manager.
For those who did not no how he
got the Manchester Utd job, let
me tell you:
In my research, Moyes was
driving out with his wife one
certain evening and he got a call
from Ferguson.
FERGUSON: "Hi, where are you?"
MOYES: "I'm driving out with my
wife." Moyes replied.
Ferguson then asked him to stop
by at his place. Moyes was on
Jean and a t-shirt, he was
surprised with the invitation, and
had thought that Ferguson
wanted to buy or loan a player
from Everton.
Moyes then dropped his wife at
the shopping mall and breezed
into Alex's crib. Ferguson took
him upstairs, offered him a cup
of tea and said "Congratulation s
David, you are the new manager
of Manchester united."
Some managers are good at
managing small clubs but when
given a bigger opportunity they
flop.
A good example is Roy
Hudson, when he was at Fulham
FC, he did a great job there, but
when he got transfered to
Liverpool, he failed to
deliver. Then again when got
transfered to Westbom, he did
proved himself again.
Sometimes it's the other way
around. Westbrom rejected RDM,
but he became a hero at Chelsea.
So with this, I leave three
questions:
[1] Was it right for the
Manchester United board to allow
Alex Ferguson to appoint his
successor single handedly?
[2] Do you think Ferguson chose
him because they are both from
Scotland?
[3] Is Moyes the right Man for
that big job?, considering how
great a club like Man
Utd is.

David Moyes never had what it takes to coach big clubs like Manchester United, I think that was his major problem. The demands were too high for him at his new club. He was rather used to taking the seven position at Everton, of course that ass his favourite position and he couldn't try that at United, that's why he got his arse fired!

I am not a Man Utd fan but I was very amused when I noted that they 'll not be featuring in Europe''s elite competition of next season, I think Sir Alex Fergie should be blamed for not bringing in the right man for Manchester United as his successor!

I amuses me! If you want to see Moyes in the most confused state, check when he is two goals down;  he doesn't even know what to tell the players then and I don't think he has never come up with a win after such. The words h*million was during their run of Sixteen tie with Olympakios in the UCL, thanks to a Robin Van Persie hat trick!
