DSTV Eutelsat Star Awards is an annual essay competition for students who are capable of dreaming big. The 2014 competition puts you into the shoes of someone big, someone with a big responsibility whom everyone looks up to. How would you handle the situation. Read on to see the title of the essay and the big prizes to be won.

You can enter the DStv Eutelsat Star Awards 2014 by creating an award winning essay or poster about satellite technology and how it shapes your world and you can win big!

TOPIC

Imagine you are a satellite high above your country, your home, or even your school.
What would you see?
What would you like to tell the people below about what you see from up there?
What would you like people to know?
What would you like them to think about?
If you could send them a message or an image, what would you like to say or show?
Create an essay or poster about satellite technology and how it shapes your world and you can win big.

Besides awesome prizes up for grabs in the country awards, overall winners will be rewarded with the trip of a lifetime.

Through the amazing power and capabilities of satellites, the ability of scientists to make sense of our world and shape the future of human kind has increased in leaps and bounds. To explain a little: satellites have changed our perception of the Earth, helping us to realize that it is small, fragile and possibly unique world in the immensity of space, and as such it must be preserved.

Satellites help us to learn more about our planet and to improve how we use its limited resources. They also revolutionize the way we travel and communicate.

For the past 3years my Dad has not recharge our Dstv for common 1500 minimum. According to him he said '' we should face our studies and dont be distracted'' the only free channels we watch are 1. Cctv9, 2. CctvD, NTA1 free, cctv 4, and cctvf. But these channels are all about news and news mostly from around the globe. God touch his hearth so that we can watch Entertainment because no one dares to recharge it except him or face his wrath.
