Transfer Airtime To Your Loved Ones Using Mtn Share and Sell

Share and Sell is a service from MTN which allows MTN subscribers to send airtime from one MTN sim to another. You will not be charged when sending credit using Share and Sell.

Share and Sell involves the use of a four-digit transfer pin code. If you have never used Share and Sell before, then your pin is the default pin which is 0000. Before you can transfer credit, you have to change the default pin to a new one, so send a message to 777 like this: 0000 NEWPIN NEWPIN. Note that NEWPIN should be the four-digit pin you want to use as your Share and Sell pin code. Send the message to 777. For example if you want your pin to be 1234, then send '0000 1234 1234' to 777. You would receive a text message saying your pin has been changed successfully.

You can also change the default pin by dialing the ussd code *601*0000*newpin*newpin#

How To Transfer Credit From Sms
To transfer airtime to another MTN subscriber just send an sms message to 777 using the following format:
Transfer NUMBER AMOUNT PIN. For example Transfer 08090000000 500 1234

How To Transfer Credit From USSD code

Just dial *600*Number*Amount*Pin#

If you have used Share and Sell in the past and cannot remember your pin, you can call the MTN customer service line on 180 and they would reset your pin for you.

According to my ideaology; if u want to send using SMS; simply type as follows. Transfer 08101014233 700 1234. The last 4 digit is not de same o. Each person has his/her pin.......... And if u want to use the other way round :::::::u dial *600*08101014233*700*1234# u den press de ok key or de green botton

@Mr Chris, there has been some updates on MTN network. The code for changing of PIN and transferring airtime is still the same (*600*...). The only thing that varies is the command format.
