Official list of BlackBerry data plans and subscription codes on Airtel.

Truth be told, there are several BlackBerry internet data plans available and I bet the Airtel guys themselves have lost count. It is difficult to tell why they put out so many conflicting plans and end up confusing people.
They also have an Unlimited BlackBerry data plan which is not really "unlimited".
Follow me as I list out all the plans and their limits.

(1) Airtel BB Unlimited
Monthly Subscription: Duration: 30 days, Data bundle: 1.5GB, Price: N1500, USSD: *440*16#, SMS: bbum to 440.
Weekly Subscription: Duration: 7 days, Data bundle: 400MB, Price: N525, USSD: *440*17#, SMS: bbuw to 440.
Daily Subscription: Duration: 1 day, Data bundle: 81MB, Price: N100, USSD: *440*18#, SMS: bbud to 440.

EDIT (April 2014): The 30 days plan was reduced from 2GB to 1.5GB
*One advantage of this plan is that you can add as many email addresses as you want on your BlackBerry. Another advantage is that you can use this plan on Android phones, PC modems, and via BlackBerry wireless WiFi hotspot.

(2) Airtel BB Unknown (That's not the official name though)
Monthly Subscription: Duration: 30 days, Data bundle: 4GB, Price: N1500, USSD: *440*161#, SMS: ??.

* Although this plan has a 4GB data cap, its disadvantage is that it cannot be used on Android nor modems nor via hotspot.

(3) Airtel BB Complete (I have no idea why this plan exists)
Monthly Subscription: Duration: 30 days, Data bundle: 200MB, Price: N1000, USSD: *440*19#, SMS: bbcm to 440.
Weekly Subscription: Duration: 7 days, Data bundle: 50MB, Price: N350, USSD: *440*20#, SMS: bbcw to 440.
Daily Subscription: Duration: 1 day, Data bundle: 10MB, Price: N70, USSD: *440*21#, SMS: bbcd to 440.

* Although I have never subscribed to this plan, one obvious advantage is its cheap daily plan which is N70 compared to that on other networks which are usually N100. This plan can be used on Android and PC modems as well.

Please can I use the Airtel BB 2GB monthly subscription on my Android table,

Hi Nomsi, yes they will work on your Android phone without needing to activate it on a BlackBerry first. Just subscribe as normal and you should be on your way.
