Airtel now has a selection of data plans for Android users, which is probably the reason for terminating the 4GB for N1,500 plan which they opened for all devices a while ago. The Android plans are not that bad at all are probably better than their current data bundles for BlackBerry. I used the word "probably" because these Android plans have greater data allowances than the BlackBerry bundles, but data consumption on both devices is an entirely different story.

These plans were created for Android devices, but if you are planning to use these plans on a BlackBerry or on your PC, there's only one way to find out if it will work before wasting your money on airtime: Dial the subscription code for the plan, the response you get will determine if the plans will work on your sim or not:
"Dear customer, you do not qualify for this plan" - This response means that the plan will not work on your device.
"Dear customer, you do not have sufficient balance for this plan" - This response means that the Android plan will work on your device.

Follow @JalingoHQ on twitter.
There are other plans such as WhatsApp plan, Operamini etc plans, which tend to work beyond what you expect. Dial *121# and follow the menu options to activate your preferred plan.

The best but not tested airtel plan i've heard was simple surf plan
You should go for it if you claim it to be the best.

I'll  inform you after knowing more about it
I will be more than willing, I need a tarrif plan that offers data bonus on recharging. I shouldn't always have to subscribe to a data plan.
