Have you ever wondered who the richest nigerian artistes are? True, you may have guessed that one singer is richer than another, but do you know how much these musicians are worth? Let me show you.

One thing to keep in mind is that rappers and singers all over the world (not just Nigeria) overhype their lifestyles in their music videos. Of course, who wouldn't? Think of yourself as a famous musician, what would you show off in your videos? If you wanted to shoot a scene displaying about 30 cars lined up accross your frontyard, you would want to rent the best cars in the market just for the sake of that one music video. So you see, these guys are rich, but not as rich as they portray themselves.
Let's take a look at the wealthiest 20 musicians in Nigeria currently.

20. Patoranking

1544-0
The 'Alubarika' crooner is said to be worth about ₦350Million. It is possible that he carries some of this money inside his signature school bag.

19. Yemi Alade

Yemi Alade came strong into the music industry. It is clear that she knew exactly where she was going. They say she is worth ₦420million, half of which is held by some guy called 'Johnny' who is currently at large.

18. Chidinma Ekile

1548-2
From MTN Project Fame to stardom, she surely waits for no one. Her estimated net worth is ₦570million

17. Duncan Mighty

1550-3
The self acclaimed 'first son of port-harcourt'. He used to worth more than ₦700million until 'Obianuju' made off with a quarter of that paper.

16. Phyno

1552-4
The Igbo rapper who constantly raps about all his haters and how they can't flush him (down the toilet). Phyno and his 'alobam' are worth about ₦720million.

15. Ice Prince

1554-5
The chocolate city VP and nigerian rapper Ice Prince surely has a place on the high table. He broke into prominence with help from songs like 'Superstar' and 'Oleku' (thanks to Brymo's vocal power). The 'Aboki' rapper has a net worth of ₦870million, but whether he gets most of that cash from a secret cattle business is still unclear.

14. Olamide

1556-6
Apparently, rapping in yoruba language is good business. Even though half the nigerian population does not understand what the hell he is talking about, it doesn't stop 'Badoo' from raking in huge sums. He is worth ₦900million.

13. Tiwa Savage

1558-7
Super smooth voice, adds life to any song she is featured in, Tiwa Savage is worth ₦970million

12. Kcee

1560-8
His estimated net worth is ₦982million. With roughly only 2 hit songs 'Limpopo' and 'Pull over', one can only wonder how the former KCpresh member gets his money. It is rumoured that he visits the Limpopo river frequently, but it is unproven.

11. M.I Abaga

1562-9
With a value of ₦988million, money is definitely not 'slow to enter' for the Chocolate City' president. M.I abaga is considered the best rapper in Nigeria if not Africa. People say his money and his height are going in oppsite directions, but we know nothing about that.

10. Timaya

1564-10
The self proclaimed 'Egberi papa 1 of Bayelsa'. He is known for making club music with strong beats. With the 'Dem Mama' soldier's net worth estimted to be at about ₦1.1billion, we are certain that his bank account and music career are going in opposite directions. This then confirms the rumours that he runs a huge plantain enterprise at his hometown in Bayelsa. Though he has refused to mention this in public.
