Many seek help where there is no help: we deceive ourselves many times by seeking help from man(human beings). The Bible Says:
"It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man......than to put confidence in princes." (PSALM. 118:8,9.). Focus on GOD in times of troubles; pray to Him for way out. We have all made mistakes in putting our trust in man, may God forgive us; only God can be trusted.
I have a cousin( Name: Akin Olagunju-A medical doctor),who is now in USA; he made promise to help finance my academic and help me;since he left for USA (up to 20years ago),he never send me a penny;l called to him when l was in great need and in distress, he refused to help: he turned deaf hear.
Man shall be man,dont rely on man;man can fail you where you least expected. "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (PSALM. 46:1).
"I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD...."( PSALM. 121:1,2). It is well with you my people.

Trust in man is nothing compared to Trust in God for man promises, compromises, disappoints and fails but the LORD never promises...and fails.
Trust in God is an endless hope but Trust in man is a hopeless end.

Believe in d LORD and he shall see u through for God has honoured His Word than His Name through Christ Jesus.

Trust in God always and never put your trust in man. Man fails to fulfil promises due to three main reasons:- 1. he may not have capability to do it as at the time he promises to do it. 2. his promise may be fake promise. 3. he may die b4 the time he promises to do it. God is always capable; he never makes fake promise, he's not a man, he doesnt lie; he cannot die.

@firelord1, Going to native doctor is going to the devil and the satan cant give anybody free gift; he gives what cannot last and would bring great sorrow to people's life; there is no lasting joy in the devil's gifts. Only God can give to man with lasting peace.
