vii. Imbibe in the students a consciousness that would cause them to be alert at all times.
viii. Only the parents of students or someone duly assigned should be allowed to pickup students from the school.
ix. Students bags should be searched from time to time to prevent them from bringing in dangerous weapons into the school.
x. Students activities should be strictly monitored to prevent them fro joining secret cults.
xi. Students should be encouraged to report any suspicious move or person within the school premises to the school management.
xii. Kids should be taught not to talk to strangers.
xiii. Teachers to be vigilant.

3.   Security Consciousness In The Society.

Personal security is often overlooked, ignored, or never even though of. Most people go about their daily lives and routines without a thought of potential danger lurking around.

It is great that most of the time we don't have to worry too much about personal security. However, this can become a trap. Just because it was safe last time doesn't mean it will be safe all the time.

The following list of personal security tips may help secure you in your daily life.
i. Always be alert and aware of your surroundings and of the people around you. While walking, avoid distractions from your 'smartphone' (e.g. 'texting')
ii. Speed up your movement while in the dark and parking lots for better personal security.
iii. Always inform family or friends if you are travelling, and give them itinerary dates and locations you will visit.
iv. Try to stay away from the bush or trees when walking, jogging, or running.
v. If a stranger approaches offering a ride, Turn Around and go in the opposite direction of the cas. If possible, write down the license plate and description of the car.
vi. Avoid being on a cell phone while walking out in public (or driving!). If you must (while walking), force yourself to be especially aware of your surroundings.
vii. Avoid walking, jogging, running in public with earbuds in your ears (listening to music).
viii. Avoid dangerous places at night time; visit them during day.
ix. Stop and look around if you feel unsafe enterhng an area. You may want to return at a different time. Trust your instincts!
x. Avoid isolated bus or train stops. Otherwise, continuously look all around you. Beware.
xi. Don't open purse or wallet while boarding the bus; have your fare ready.
xii. Don't stay in the same spot and make yourself an easy target if you are at a bus or train stop and you are feeling unsafe.
xiii. Be extra careful when using ATM machines.
xiv. Even when living in remote areas, never let your guard down.
xv. Lock your Doors at night. Lock your Windows too!
xvi. The more people that are around, the more danger (and risks) thereof.
xvii. For those that keep wallets, keep your wallet in your front pocket.
xviii. Make the habit of locking the doors as soon as you get inside the vehicle.
xix. When parking, do not unlock your door until you have had a look around first.
