Let's briefly talk about the term "JAMB Registration Number".
** It is a UTME Board number consisting of digits which identifies a candidate sitting for JAMB.
Of what use is the JAMB "Registration No.?"
For a newbie Candidate on JAMB, the Registration Number, is basically used for three(3) major purposes:

1) Candidate's confirmation pins in sitting for JAMB.
2) Candidate's validation no in Checking sitted JAMB Results.
3) As Confirmation/Validation number to Admission Checks that Candidate sitted for Resent JAMB Exam or not.

If lost, can it be Retrieved/Recovered?
Sol: yes, it is 100% percent possible. But, for this Registration no. Retrieval process to be accurate would require 2(two) mandatory JAMB Card informations.
