How To Setup & Activate Facebook Email Address

A facebook email account is easy to setup. Everyone on facebook is entitled to an email address depending on whether you have setup your username. Facebook emails use the format: username@facebook.com.

The first thing you need to do is create a username if you haven't already. To do so, just visit your facebook account settings and set a username from there. That name will be used as your facebook email with @facebook.com

Now, although that email hs been reserved for you, you won't be able to use it until you activate it. To activate your facebook email, just visit your inbox with a computer, then click on Claim your facebook email which can be seen at the top of that page.

A facebook email account does not have all the extra features that Gmail and Yahoo mail has. It basically pushes all messages sent to that email to your facebook inbox.
