River Niger, River Benue while other prominent ones are River Kaduna, River Ethiope, Cross River, Ase, Forcados, Benin etc.

Facts about Nigeria !
Nigerian Leaders are so cunny that any data about our population can never be accurate, but we just assume atimes and the assumption of the present Nigerian population is above 150,000,000.
Another error l notice in the post is the population of males to the ratio of females' population; males can never be up to the number of females in any community in the world, except where war has eradicated most of their men.

No! Its a different story here in Nigeria. I have reviewed the population stats of each state in Nigeria from the 2006 census. Only two states had the number of female greater than male. One of them was Bayelsa.

You know why l said so; it's practically proved.
Survey your class in the school, your church, and any gathering around you.
I've done my own survey in churches and other gatherings.
In fact, where you see 100 women, you may see 20 or 30 men.
What l'm even saying here is that the gap is too wide.
I based may analogy on what l see.
Note: not only in my area, but in different states l've visited in Nigeria; I was surprised with that stats saying men are more in number than women.
And as l've said on our census; they can never be accurate because of dubious characters of Nigerians; people of each local government inflate the numbers at each census, in order to get higher allocation: that is just it.

I still refuse to accept this, now apart from the national population census which you deemed theoritical, I can understand men are lazy about Church activities.
Now, when you see people in church, banking halls, bars, offices, have you given a thought about those riding on the roads?working on mining and construction sites? Gamblers? Futbol? Smoking? Men dominate these areas and these are the kind of places you mostly find people nowadays!

I can't even believe that people can write such figure.
Look at it also this way; population of men marrying more than one wife in Nigeria; if women are given such opportunity, they will not be able to get more than one husband; but if all men decide to marry more than one wife; believe me, they will get easily.
Also listen to movies; they speak this truth in it; saying "women are many on the streets". Do you think its for joke?
