Here are the valid zip codes for Nigeria for use in filling online postal forms.

You are probably reading this because you have been presented with either an extensive registration form or a delivery bill which contains a field for your country / destination. Here's a little background on what the ZIP code is.

ZIP codes are a system of postal codes used by the United States Postal Service (USPS) since 1963. The term ZIP, an acronym for Zone Improvement Plan, was chosen to suggest that the mail travels more efficiently, and therefore more quickly (zipping along), when senders use the code in the postal address.

That was from wikipedia. So you see, the term "ZIP code" applies to the United States only. For other countries, the term "Postal code" is used. But both terms are commonly used interchangeably since they typically serve the same purpose (mailing).
