The Airtel Nigeria WTF bundle is a new data plan from the Airtel network which allows subscribers have unlimited access to Whatsapp, Twitter, Facebook and BBM at very cheap rates.

This plan is useful if you cannot afford the full Airtel data plans at the moment, or if you spend most of your time using these apps and very little browsing.

To subscribe for the Airtel WTF data plan, dial the codes below depending on hoew long you want your subscription to last:
Dial *990# for monthly (30 Days) WTF Bundle, costs N200.
Dial *991# for weekly (7 days) WTF Bundle at N100

Note that the Airtel WTF bundle will only work for these four apps: Whatsapp, Twitter, Facebook & Blackberry Messenger. Using the internet or any other apps will cost you 5 kobo per KB.

To check your WTF bundle balance, dial *990*0#. See the table below for more details.

Have the 2 data bundles (80 and 30) been proven enough for the time they aree allocated to? Those apps load a lot of content.

Hi Hendrix
80MB may seem very little for a whole month considering that these apps allow media transfer (voice notes and pictures), but it's possible that Airtel would have blocked the medium for that functionality. I may be wrong though, because I have never used the WTF plan before.

I remember reading a comment on a bbm only plan (can't remember the network) where someone complained that they were not seeing profile pictures of their contacts after subscribing for the plan.

Hi Paulobi,
That makes sense. This bundle will suit people who want to stay connected all the time without paying too much money for data.
