Blackberry App Error 603 Fix

- Did you recently get a white screen on your blackberry device with the error 603 message?
- Did you get this error after updating your handheld to a higher OS?
- Did you experience the error 603 after restarting your blackberry in a bid to fix a low memory issue?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions then this article is for you. This error may be displayed as "Error 603", "App Error 603", or "JVM 603"

What Causes Blackberry Error 603?

Technically: Your Blackberry device has found a problem with its JVM software (Java Virtual Machine) and may not be able to function properly.

In English: There is something wrong with an application on your phone. Either some data associated with the app or the app itself is corrupt and needs to be removed.

How Do I Fix My Blackberry App Error 603?

The usual way to fix the app error 603 is to do a complete reload of your blackberry OS, But before you reinstall your OS, make sure you have tried these other simpler fixes. Below are workarounds that you should try in order before attempting to reload your OS.

1. Hard Reset: Normally, when this error crops up, there is usually a "Reset" link on that page. To reset your blackberry anytime, hold the alt key, without letting go of it hold the Aa key as well, then hold the del key. A hard reset is the first thing any blackberry user should do when they encounter stubborn errors like this.

2. Delete Apps To Free Memory Space: I recommend  you delete the last app you downloaded before this error as this may be the app causing RAM problems for the JVM.

3. Reload Your Blackberry OS: It may be worth noting that you may experience this error if you run OS 6 on your blackberry 9700 (This phone works best with the OS 5).
Now reload your blackberry phone with the latest version and build of your OS. This should fix the blackberry app error 603.
If you dont know how to reload your OS, try the method below:
- Connect your device to your PC via a USB cable, the open up Blackberry Device Software.
- Backup your device first, then restore to default factory settings.
